Bought these for my 4-year-old and the irregular piece shapes actually make her slow down and think instead of just guessing. The Africa map has become our go-to rainy day activity, and the pieces are thick enough that they haven't bent yet after weeks of use.
The 48 oversized pieces are perfect for little hands still learning to grip, and my kids actually finish these without losing interest halfway through. We've done the ocean one three times this week already.
