I was worried the glow effect would be a gimmick, but these actually charge up under a lamp and stay lit long enough for my daughter to finish the animal picture in the dark. The pieces click together nicely too, no frayed edges after a few weeks of use.
My kids couldn’t wait for lights out to see the animals glow—and it didn’t disappoint. The 60 pieces are sturdy and the full-color picture kept them focused for a good half hour.
The 60 pieces are a good fit for my 6-year-old—challenging enough that she actually has to think, but she can finish one on her own. The glow effect is decent but faint unless you charge it right under a lamp first.
