My 6-year-old was so captivated by the glow-in-the-dark space map that he insisted on finishing it before lights out—the 100 pieces were just the right challenge for him.
Got this for my 7-year-old who's obsessed with planets, and the 100 pieces kept him busy for a solid hour. The glow-in-the-dark part works best if you charge it under a lamp first, otherwise it's pretty faint.
The glow effect on the space map is genuinely cool once you charge it under a lamp, and the 100 pieces are thick enough that my 5-year-old can handle them without bending corners. Took me a bit to realize the glow only lasts about ten minutes, but that's fine for a bedtime activity.
