I pulled these out at dinner last week and we ended up talking for two hours instead of eating in silence. The five categories keep it from feeling repetitive, and my teenagers actually stayed at the table.
The five category tabs make it easy to switch things up, and 100 cards means we haven't repeated ourselves yet. Only wish the box were sturdier for tossing in the car, but the questions have gotten some great talks going.
Cards are decent quality and the category labels help steer things when conversation stalls, but a lot of the prompts feel pretty safe and generic. My teens answered a few and then lost interest, while the ones about memories went over better. It's fine for a casual dinner, just not as deep as I was
