The timer really makes it — my sister got so flustered trying to describe "popcorn" that she just started making popping noises. We played four rounds at dinner and nobody wanted to stop, even my dad who usually hates games.
My kids actually asked to play again the next night, which never happens with our other games. The no-saying-the-word rule gets everyone laughing, especially when my husband starts acting things out.
We pulled this out after dinner and ended up playing for almost two hours instead of watching TV. The no-saying-the-word rule sounds easy until you're the one stuck trying to describe "pizza" without using food words. Even my teenagers put their phones down for it.
